Yes. We supply all of our customers with food waste bins free of charge.

Our standard food waste bins are 240 litres, although other sizes are available.

Our food waste bins are lined to maintain hygiene levels. The liners are removed and replaced with each collection. A bin cleaning service is also available for an additional fee if required.

Our collection rounds are highly flexible and can be arranged to suit the amount of food waste you produce and how much space you have to store it. Our customer service team will be able to advise what is available in your area.

All of the food waste we collect is processed at an Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plant, a process that minimises environmental impact, and which turns your waste food into a valuable resource.

We collect from any business or organisation that produces food waste. This includes:

  • Food Manufacturers and Processors
  • Corporate Offices and Buildings
  • Retail and Shopping Centers
  • Restaurants and Cafes
  • Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities
  • Hotels and Resorts
  • Food Wholesalers and Distributors
  • Entertainment Venues
  • Schools and Universities
  • Supermarkets and Mini-Markets
  • Catering Companies
  • Farmers Markets
  • Retirement Homes and Assisted Living Facilities

We offer bulk food waste collections and can offer ad hoc collections for larger volumes of food waste within 24 hours for existing customers and will endeavour to collect from new or returning customers as quickly as possible.

Yes we do. There is a handling fee that applies to heavily packaged food waste. Handling glass and metal containers can be particularly time-consuming and we always prefer "naked" food waste whenever possible.

We take most types of food waste including peelings and plate waste. The only animal by products we are able to accept are those categorised as ABP CAT 3 food waste. These are a particularly good feedstock as they have a high calorific value which gives high gas yields. We will also accept liquid food waste once we have established its suitability for the AD plant.
